Greg Monforton and Partners Moves to Chrysler Building

Greg Monforton & Partners announced today that the law firm has vacated its old downtown office location but remains committed to downtown Windsor and has relocated to occupy the entire 8th floor of the Chrysler Building at 1 Riverside Drive West.

Greg Monforton said: We are very excited about this move.  A unique work-space like no other in downtown Windsor has been created.

Bill Lester, of W. D. Lester Construction Services Inc., teamed up with interior design consultants Debra Kennedy-Snider and Shannon Dinham of Mayhew & Associates to create a comfortable feel that optimizes the view of the iconic Detroit River skyline.

Monforton said:  Lester and Mayhew have used glass architectural walls within the space to harvest natural light, revealing a bright, clean image while also reducing the environmental cost of lighting requirements.

A contemporary color scheme was achieved using a broad range of textures and materials shown in variations of charcoal, ice blue and walnut woods.

Monforton added: We hope our firms move to the Chrysler Building demonstrates our commitment to and confidence in the future of downtown Windsor.  A vibrant, thriving and dynamic downtown is essential to our city’s economic health and future.

I have worked in downtown Windsor since my teenage years when I got my first job selling suits at my late father Monty Monforton’s men’s clothing store which, coincidentally, was located on the same piece of real estate that now houses the Chrysler Building.  So, for me, its like coming home now that I can go to work each day at the same corner of Ouellette Avenue and Riverside Drive.

We are looking forward to growing our firm in this new downtown location and continuing to serve the people of Windsor and Essex County who are injured through no fault of their own, Monforton added.
