Five Injured After Car Slams Into Leamington Home

police accident scene tapeAuthorities from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leamington have released details on a serious accident that took place on Sunday, September 7th and resulted in five people being rushed to hospital.

According to the statement, officers responded to a crash at the Oak Street East and Lutsch Avenue intersection at approximately 6:30 p.m, that was the result of the vehicle losing control and colliding into the house that was located on the south side of Oak Street.

While no one inside the home was injured, five occupants in the vehicle sustained injuries that ranged from minor to life-threatening.

This is s developing story and the OPP’s traffic collision investigators are asking for any witnesses to please call with any details on the incident.
