Motorcyclist Fatally Injured Following Motorcycle Crash in Windsor

motorcycle crash with a tractor trailerA motorcyclist has been fatally injured after being involved in a serious collision with a tractor trailer on Tuesday afternoon. 

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and other emergency responders were called to the accident scene in the southbound lanes of Huron Church Line, just south of the E.C. Row Expressway at about 4:25 p.m.

The driver of the motorcycle was rushed by paramedics to the hospital in critical condition and has since passed away. The condition of the driver of the tractor trailer remains unknown at this time.

The southbound lanes of Huron Church Line between E.C. Row and Bethlehem Avenue remain closed in order to investigate and reconstruct the accident scene.

The police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to please call 888-310-1122 or send a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
