There was a fatal collision on Wednesday night between a motorcycle and another vehicle near Leamington. The 28-year-old motorcycle rider suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The scene of the crash was near Mersea Road 19 and Mersea Road 2. The police had to close Mersea Road 2 to investigate what happened.
The motorcycle rider was from Leamington.
At this point, it is unknown if any charges will be laid.
This is the second fatal motorcycle crash of the week. Another happened on Sunday on Dougall Avenue.
