One Killed, Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash Near Ridgetown

There was a fatal car crash last weekend near Ridgetown. The collision happened at about 1 p.m. on Victoria Road at the intersection with Gosnell Line.

There were two vehicles in the crash. There were two passengers in one vehicle that was on Gosnell Line.

The other vehicle was driven by a 60-year-old woman from Chatham, and there was also a 60-year-old passenger in the car.

The 60-year-old woman died at the scene. The other passenger was taken to hospital by an air ambulance, but this person is stable.

Both occupants of the other vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. They are listed in fair condition.

The police have not yet released the name of the driver who died. The investigation is being handled by the Traffic Management Unit.
