Driver of School Bus Charged After Crash in Kingsville Injures Three

back of school busA school bus driver has been charged after a crash in Kingsville that injured two students Thursday morning.

Essex County OPP and Essex-Windsor EMS were called to the intersection of Road 8 East and Graham Side Road at about 7:50 a.m.

According to CTV Windsor, five students were on the school bus when it hit another vehicle. Two students, including the bus driver, were hospitalized with minor injuries. The other driver was treated by EMS at the scene and released.

The bus driver, a 47-year-old Kingsville resident, has been charged with Fail to Yield to Traffic on a Through Highway.

The OPP is asking anyone with details about the crash to please call 1-888-310-1122. You can also leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. There is a cash reward of up to $2,000.
