Dirt Bike Rider Killed in Car Crash

On Sunday evening, a 32-year-old dirt bike rider was killed when he collided with a Jeep on Riverside Drive East and Eastlawn Avenue in Ontario.

According to The Windsor Star, police believe the bike rider was headed east on Riverside Drive and the Jeep was headed west. The bike was not equipped with lights and bike rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

Firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene and looked over the bike riders injuries as he lay on the roadway.

The driver of the Jeep was treated for a shoulder injury while the dirt bike riders injuries were fatal. An accident reconstruction team was at the scene of the collision until 4:30 a.m.
