OPP in Leamington Investigating Deadly Crash on County Road 18

deadly crash in leamington county road 18One person is dead and four people were injured after a serious collision involving a passenger vehicle and a transport truck Wednesday night in Leamington.

According to BlackburnNews.com, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the accident scene on County Road 18 between Highway 77 and Morse Road around 7:10 p.m.

One passenger in the vehicle was fatally injured, another was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries and a third person suffered serious injuries. Two others were treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the transport truck did not sustain any injuries.

The road was shut down for several hours to investigate the accident scene. The cause of the deadly crash has yet to be identified.
