Two bicyclists are dead following a collision on Walpole Island.
According to Ontario Provincial Police, the cyclists were struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning just before 5 a.m. The driver of the vehicle was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
River Road is closed between Firehall Road and Austin Road while officials investigate the cause of the crash.
No names have been released pending next-of-kin notification.
