On Tuesday, September 23, a motorist drove his vehicle into the façade of a Staples Store in Chatham, and police now say that man has died from his injuries.
The single-vehicle accident took place at the Staples Store behind Thames Lea Plaza on Grand Avenue West in Chatham. The driver, who has not been identified at the request of his family, crashed into the store at approximately 5:30 a.m. for reasons that are yet unknown.
The man was driving a Ford Focus. He was taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, where he died from his injuries shortly thereafter.
