After a motorcycle accident that was not my fault left me with significant injuries, my family and I began a legal battle with the insurance company that would ultimately last seven years. I feel incredibly fortunate that Joanna Sweet and Laura Nicola of Greg Monforton & Partners were by our side throughout that journey.
From the beginning, Joanna and Laura were professional, compassionate, easy to communicate with, and always extremely well prepared. They gave us excellent advice and direction, took the time to explain our options, and helped us carefully weigh the risks and benefits of every major decision. We always felt that we were in very capable and caring hands.
My case ultimately went to trial, which I understand is uncommon for personal injury cases. The trial itself was intense and lasted approximately one month. Going to court—especially after already dealing with the case for so many years—was stressful, but Joanna and Laura did an outstanding job preparing us for what to expect and making the entire process much easier to handle.
Throughout the trial, it became very clear just how talented, intelligent and dedicated they are. They knew our case inside and out, were always prepared, and fought incredibly hard on my behalf. In the end, the jury awarded us a very favourable result, and we could not be more grateful.
Seven years is a long time to have a legal case hanging over your life, and having lawyers you trust makes an enormous difference. We truly feel blessed that Joanna and Laura represented me.
