Supporting Our Community: Greg Monforton & Partners at the 2025 BIAWE Golf Tournament

Amanda, Jacqui, Myla, Ceana at the 2025 BIAWE

Last Thursday, our team had the privilege of participating in the 2025 Brain Injury Association of Windsor and Essex County’s Annual Golf Tournament at the beautiful Kingsville Golf & Country Club. As proud “Birdie Sponsors,” we were thrilled to support this meaningful cause while enjoying a fantastic day on the greens.

A Perfect Day for a Great Cause

On September 18th, with a noon tee-off time, the tournament brought together community members, businesses, and advocates united by a common goal: supporting individuals and families affected by brain injuries. The picturesque setting of Kingsville Golf & Country Club provided the perfect backdrop for an event that truly embodied “golf, goodwill, and giving back.”

Our firm was well-represented by Associate lawyers Amanda Mustapha, Jacqueline Staley, Myla Picco, along with articling student Ceana Ussoletti from Windsor Law School. It was wonderful to see our team come together outside the office, sharing laughs and friendly competition while supporting such an important cause.

Why BIAWE Matters to Our Community

As personal injury lawyers, we understand firsthand the profound impact brain injuries can have on individuals and their families. The Brain Injury Association of Windsor and Essex County provides crucial support, education, and advocacy for those facing these challenges. Every dollar raised at events like this golf tournament directly contributes to improving the quality of life for brain injury survivors in our community.

The tournament organisers – co-chairs Stuart Galloway and Luis Mendez, along with committee members Rachel Olsen and Joanne King – created an event that perfectly balanced fun with purpose. Their dedication to raising awareness and providing hope to those affected by brain injuries is truly inspiring.

Being part of this tournament reinforces why community involvement is so important to us at Greg Monforton & Partners. We don’t just practice law in Windsor and Essex County – we live here, raise our families here, and we care deeply about the wellbeing of our neighbors.

Events like the BIAWE Golf Tournament remind us that supporting our community goes beyond our legal practice. Whether through sponsorship, participation, or simply raising awareness, we are deeply committed to making a positive difference.

Looking Forward

For those inspired to support BIAWE’s vital work, there are many ways to contribute throughout the year. Visit the BIAWE website to learn about how you can make a difference in the lives of brain injury survivors and their families.

We are already looking forward to next year’s tournament and continuing our support of this incredible organisation. Thank you to BIAWE for hosting such a meaningful event, and congratulations to all the participants who helped make it a tremendous success.

Thank you for your contribution to this important event, Amanda, Jacqueline, Myla, and Ceana!
