Volunteers come in many diverse forms, from volunteering regularly with a local nonprofit organization to simply donating to a food drive or shoveling snow from a neighbour’s driveway.
This week, during National Volunteer Week, recognized April 23 to 29, Greg Monforton & Partners is taking time to recognize our staff and the many ways they donate their time and expertise to giving back to our community.
An avid community advocate himself, Founding Partner Greg Monforton leads by example in giving back to those in need. He is a board member with the Windsor-Essex County Mental Health Association and a former president of the Windsor-Essex Head Injury Association.
Similarly, Managing Partner Brad Robitaille, volunteers with The Hospice of Windsor & Essex County. Every Thursday afternoon, he can be found providing respite care to Hospice patients and their families.
His involvement with the organization was recognized this week in a Windsor Star article in which Brad shared that he started volunteering after seeing the love and care they provided when a close friend was under their care nearly five years ago.
Brad noted, “This is not work, it is one of the greatest honours of my life.”
Many of our other partners, attorneys and staff members are also avid volunteers with a variety of organizations throughout Windsor.
Their commitment to giving back and making our community a better place has also enabled our firm to become involved with several organizations, whether sponsoring or attending an event, raising funds and awareness, or hosting a donation drive at the office.
Greg Monforton & Partners is a committed member of this community that believes in the value of volunteering.
We recognize and thank our staff for their generosity in giving back to our community.
