Greg Monforton & Partners Celebrates Community at Hatsquerade for Healthcare

Greg Monforton & Partners at Hatsquerade 2026

Last week, Windsor/Essex gathered at St. Clair Centre for the Arts for Hatsquerade for Healthcare. This celebration follows a month-long campaign supporting Windsor Regional Hospital.

The evening brought together sponsors, donors, hospital leadership, and community members for a fun evening of hat couture, live music, and shared purpose.

One of the evening’s highlights was when our co-founding partner Greg Monforton took to the stage to share what the Hats on for Healthcare campaign means to him — and why it matters to this community.

Hatsquerade for Healthcare: More Than a Fundraiser

Hatsquerade marked the finale of the 17th annual Hats On For Healthcare campaign. Since 2010, this annual community fundraising campaign has raised over $700,000. These funds support live-saving hospital programs and critical equipment.

This year, Windsor Regional Hospital introduced Donor Choice, which allows people to direct contributions to specific programs at Windsor Regional Hospital.

As Title Sponsor for the third consecutive year, Greg Monforton & Partners has proudly championed this campaign, but not just through financial support. Members of our team actively participated as well — including Kortney Larocque, the firm’s Director of Medical Outreach, who served on the event planning committee.

Greg Monforton: We Are Priviliged to Be Part of This Effort

Speaking to attendees at Hatsquerade, Greg reflected on what the campaign represents to him and to our firm:

“It’s a real privilege for our firm to be part of this effort — for the third year in a row. We’re proud of that, certainly. But what we’re most proud of is the company we keep. Because tonight isn’t about a sponsor. It’s about a community. It’s about people like Elaine and Harvey Snaden, who decided, quietly, generously — that 40 different hospital programs mattered. That better care, better support, and better outcomes were worth investing in. And not in some abstract way — but here, at home, for our neighbours, families, and friends.

To everyone who donated — thank you. You’ve done something very simple and profound. You’ve made it easier for very good people to do very important work.

Greg also expressed thanks to everyone involved in making Hats for Healthcare successful,

“To those at the hospital, who led this initiative, like Director of Philanthropy Stacey MacDonald and member of your planning committee, and our very own Director of Medical Outreach, Kortney Larocque — who together organised it and drove it — you have our admiration as well as our gratitude. These things don’t just ‘happen’. They succeed because of commitment, persistence and a belief that the effort will matter. You proved that it does.

I once read somewhere that the highest measure of public service is not in the grand gesture, but in the willingness to contribute — each in our own way — to something larger than ourselves.

That’s what’s been on display here. Forty programs supported; countless lives touched, and a reminder that when a community decides to show up, there’s very little it can’t accomplish.

So tonight, all of us at Greg Monforton and Partners simply say: thank you — for your generosity, your leadership, and your example.

We’re honoured to stand with you. And we’re already looking forward to what we can achieve together next.

This Is What Community Looks Like

Hatsquerade wasn’t just a celebration of funds raised. It was a reminder of what Windsor/Essex does best — showing up for each other.

Donors who supported 40 different hospital programs. Hospital staff who lead with vision and persistence. Planning committee members who turned an idea into an evening people will remember. And a community that, year after year, proves that healthcare isn’t just something we receive — it’s something we build together.

Greg Monforton & Partners thanks everyone who made this campaign possible.
