GM&P Supports Downtown Mission with Denim Fridays

personal injury lawyer Brad RobitailleThe legal professionals at Windsor law firm Greg Monforton & Partners take every opportunity they can to assist local charitable organizations. The firm is using a new dress code to help raise funds for the Downtown Mission of Windsor in a slightly unorthodox way, and they’re having great success.

The firm uses an incentive they call Denim Fridays to celebrate the end of the week and help raise awareness for the missions cause.

Every Friday for the past several months, employees at the firm are encouraged to enjoy a more relaxed office dress code by wearing denim. To participate, each employee must make a donation of $5, which is then totaled and given to the Downtown Mission of Windsor. To double their efforts, the firm matches every donation made by its employees.

“Our weekly Denim Fridays are something the whole team enjoys, said Robitaille. Denim Fridays are a great morale booster and provide a way for us to raise money for the Downtown Mission of Windsor, a very deserving charitable organization, Robitaille said.

The Downtown Mission of Windsor assists local individuals and families who are in need of shelter, a warm meal and kindness. The organization maintains a food bank and a sanctuary, in addition to providing important programs to help feed, clothe and educate any person who needs its services.

Last Friday, the firm was able to raise a whopping $1,140, Managing Partner Brad Robitaille, shared. That amount represents all major employee contributions, in addition to the amount matched by the firm.

Greg Monforton & Partners plans to continue Denim Fridays indefinitely and looks forward to further supporting the Downtown Mission of Windsor!
