Third Annual Childrens Charity Classic a Worthy Cause for Local Kids

Children's Charity Classic fundraiser

Timberland Homes is hosting its annual golf tournament to benefit the Windsor-Essex Care for Kids Foundation and the Special Olympics, and Greg Monforton & Partners is proud to be a sponsor of the event for the third year in a row.

The tournament will take place Friday, May 29, 2015 at Sutton Creek Golf Course. The game will consist of a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at noon.

The firm is proud to support the Childrens Charity Classic. Not only do the net proceeds from the event go directly to the Care for Kids Foundation and the Special Olympics, but the tournament is held in remembrance of Mario Piccioni, father of tournament Director Gino Piccioni of Timberland Homes.

W.E. Care for Kids enhances the health and wellbeing of children in our area through fundraising activities driven by support from volunteers, monetary donations and the community at large. W.E. Care for Kids raises funds for paediatric programs at local hospitals, therapeutic riding centers and maintains the W.E. Care for Kids House. It is a charitable non-profit organization that our firm fully supports.

The Special Olympics of Ontario is another very worthy cause that provides sports training to people with intellectual disabilities. With one of the more recognizable names in the non-profit community, the Special Olympics is based on the principle that people with intellectual disabilities can and should participate in sports and exercise.

Contributions help athletes participate in the sports they love, help them grow physically, emotionally and socially, and truly make dreams come true.

Were proud to be supporters of the Special Olympics and W.E. Care for Kids, and were thankful events like the upcoming Childrens Charity Classic make it possible for everyone in the community to get involved with these worthy causes!
