The Best Lawyers in Canada Methodology
Recognition by Best Lawyers is solely based on peer review. Once a lawyer is nominated for inclusion, he or she is reviewed by other lawyers within his or her practice area in the same geographic area.
Nominees are rated on a scale of one to five based on how willing the voter would be to refer a case to the nominee.
After collecting all votes and comments, Best Lawyers ensures each nominee is in good standing with the ethics committee of his or her local bar.
