During this time of year, many seniors in the Windsor-Essex area feel especially lonely or are isolated. The pandemic has made things worse.
Fortunately, the Be a Santa to a Senior program, run by Home Instead, helps collect and deliver gifts donated by the community to older adults who are experiencing holiday loneliness. The facility in Tecumseh has operated this program for a decade and expects to assist about 1,600 seniors.
Greg Monforton & Partners has proudly donated gift cards and gift packages to the program this year, knowing that most seniors already live in isolation with no family close by, or have no family or anyone else to visit them.
