GM&P Sponsors 2015 Bowl-a-thon Event for Lawyers Feed the Hungry

lawyers feed the hungry bowl-a-thon 2015For the second year in a row, Greg Monforton & Partners is proud to be a supporter of Lawyers Feed the Hungry’s bowl-a-thon charity event, set to take place at Windsors Rose Bowl Lanes on Friday, April 25.

The event is a fundraiser for a very worthy cause, and we are thrilled to once again be a gold-level sponsor of this important event. The Windsor Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program assists those in the community stricken by poverty and in need of food. The program provides relief for these individuals and families by offering them nutritious meals. Events like the bowl-a-thon make services provided by charitable groups like Lawyers Feed the Hungry possible.

As part of the bowl-a-thon, lawyers, firms or individuals can sponsor a lane or join in on the action as a team to strike out hunger among the impoverished of Windsor. The Essex Law Association is also promoting the bowl-a-thon as a gold-level sponsor.

We believe it is our duty to assist those in our community who rely on the kindness of others for even the simplest of human necessities. A hot meal should not be so difficult to find that our fellow residents go hungry on a regular basis.

Windsor Lawyers Feed the Hungry was established in 2010 and operates all year long. Its core objective is met through the hosting of events like the upcoming bowl-a-thon, other fundraising activities, direct donations, and through the efforts of the programs steering committee, Colleen Caza, Kenneth Marley, Rose Faddoul, and Kathleen Montello.

We encourage everyone to learn more about Lawyers Feed the Hungry and to join us at the bowl-a-thon this Friday.
