Pedestrian Hit by Truck on Tecumseh Road

police carA pedestrian suffered injuries and was sent to the hospital after being struck by a pickup truck on Tecumseh Road East on Tuesday.

The accident happened in the 7200-block of the highway near WalMart and Zehrs around 3 p.m. and shut down eastbound lanes for approximately eight and a half hours. The road reopened around 11:30 p.m. that night.

Reports indicate that the victim suffered arm injuries, but further information on the person’s condition was not available.

Police have not stated if any charges will be issued against the driver of the truck, as the accident remains under investigation.
