Pelee Island Crash Sends Two To Hospital

A Kingsville man was airlifted to a London hospital after a crash on Pelee Island Sunday night.
Ontario Provincial Police said the crash happened around 5:25 p.m. on East West Road after a 1999 GMC with two occupants struck a tree.
The passenger, a 46-year-old Kingsville man, was airlifted to Victoria Hospital in London with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver, a 35-year-old Kingsville man, was airlifted to Leamington District Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries where he was treated and released.
The OPP marine unit and technical traffic collision investigators assisted in the investigation.
Jacques McCormick, 35, is facing charges of impaired driving causing bodily harm and refusing a breathalyzer.
He will appear in a Windsor court later this month.
