Mt. Brydges Man Killed in Pickup Collision in Strathroy

An unidentified man has died as a result of a collision with a pickup truck and a van that took place at Adelaide Road and Scotchmere Drive in Strathroy early Tuesday night.

The September 9 crash occurred at approximately 6 p.m., and officers responded immediately to find the driver of a westbound van, 56-year-old John Melo, had struck a pickup heading east. The driver of the pickup was a 37-year-old man from Mt. Brydges, who died as a result of his injuries.

Officers say that the mans family has asked that his identity not be revealed to the public.
