Mother Carrying Newborn Struck By Car in Devonshire Mall Parking Lot

On Thursday, May 30th a mother and her child were walking in the Sears parking lot of the Devonshire Mall in Windsor when they were struck by a car. Although these injuries were non-life threatening, they were transported in an ambulance to a nearby hospital. No details about the driver have been released.

Of course, this is not the first time a parking lot car accident has occurred in Windsor. In November 2012, an elderly woman speeding in reverse through a parking lot totalled six parked cars and struck a woman who was walking with her newborn baby. Thankfully these accidents did not result in any severe injuries or deaths; however they are great examples of why we need to remain cautious while operating our vehicles in parking lots.

At Greg Monforton and Partners, our personal injury lawyers believe that when these negligent individuals make the decision to drive recklessly through parking lots, thus causing injuries and medical expenses to pile up, they must be held accountable for their actions and pay for all damages and losses they have caused.

Our lawyers are proud to fight for the rights of our all Windsor, Ontario residence and will seek the maximum compensation benefits available in the court of law.
