We are pleased to announce that Laura Wilkie, our Director of Medical Outreach, has been certified as proficient in the American Medical Association’s (AMA) Guides to Evaluation of Permanent Impairment 4thEdition by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME).
Guides to Evaluation of Permanent Impairment 4th Edition, also referred to as “the Guides,” is widely used by physicians as the standard system for evaluating and reporting on medical impairments.
Through this important certification Laura deepens her knowledge base, allowing us to provide better quality service to our deserving clients, each of whom have suffered life altering injuries in car crashes, medical malpractice and slip/falls.
The certification, offered by the ABIME, is recognized as the international quality assurance organization for independent medical examiners. It is recognized by workers’ compensation agencies, insurers, case management companies and legal organizations, among other professional organizations.
