Greg Monforton and Partners was pleased to support the Brain Injury Association of Windsor Essex County (BIAWE) as a platinum sponsor of its 4th Annual Golf Tournament, which was held on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at the Kingsville Golf & Country Club.
Associate Mercedes Lavoy represented the firm at the tournament, helping raise funds for BIAWE and its mission of enhancing the lives of Windsor and Essex County residents affected by acquired brain injury.
Each year there are approximately 2,400 cases of acquired brain injury in Windsor and Essex County. The leading cause of brain injuries, according to BIAWE, include falls, auto accidents and being hit directly on the head.
The nonprofit organization provides important services of education, awareness and support through various support groups and social programs for those affected by this condition. BIAWE plays a vital role in helping those suffering from acquired brain injury to continue to thrive in our community.
All of the proceeds from this event as well as other individual donations the organization receives go directly to supporting BIAWE's mission.
Our firm is proud to continue to support BIAWE and its efforts to provide a greatly needed resource in our community.
Thank you to those who have joined us in supporting this worthy cause.
